Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15.08.2026
1. General Provisions
CutFlow (hereinafter — the "service", "we") is a free online tool for calculating cutting layouts for sheet materials (particleboard, MDF, plywood, and similar). This policy describes what data the service collects and how it's used.
By using the service, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. What Data We Collect
Your project data (materials, parts, calculation settings) is stored exclusively locally in your browser using localStorage technology. This data:
- is not sent to our servers;
- is not collected or processed by us in any way;
- remains available only on the device and browser where you created it;
- is entirely under your control — you can delete it at any time using the "Reset" button in the interface or by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
Interface settings (selected language, units of measurement) are also stored locally in the browser, separately from your project data.
We do not request or collect: your name, email, phone number, payment details, or any other personal information to use the service's core functionality.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The service itself doesn't use cookies to function — only the browser's localStorage, as described above (technically not a "cookie" in the classic sense, and not sent to a server with every request).
Advertising. We may show ads through the Google AdSense network. If this is the case at the time of your visit, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to display relevant ads. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, the service requests consent for this via a consent banner before showing personalized ads. For more on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
You can manage your Google ad preferences via Google Ads Settings.
4. Third-Party Services
As of publication, the service does not use third-party platforms for payment processing or collecting voluntary donations. If such functionality is added in the future (for example, a link to an external platform for supporting the project), this policy will be updated accordingly, and the donation itself will take place entirely on the external service's side, not through our infrastructure.
5. File Exports
When you export calculation results (SVG, PNG, PDF, DXF, CSV/XLSX), the file is generated and downloaded directly in your browser. We don't receive a copy of the exported file and have no access to it.
6. User Rights (for Residents of the EEA and Other Jurisdictions with Similar Regulation)
Since we don't collect or store your personal data on our servers, most of the traditional data subject rights (access, correction, deletion) are exercised directly by you, by managing the data in your own browser. You have the right to:
- delete all locally stored data at any time (the "Reset" button or clearing the site's data in your browser);
- file a complaint with your country's data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
7. Children
The service is not intended for children under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves (for example, when adding new third-party integrations). The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
