Is it really free?
Yes. The service is free, with no limit on the number of calculations and no registration required. We're supported by unobtrusive ads on the site.
Do I need to create an account? Where is my data stored?
No account needed. All project data — materials, parts, settings — is saved locally in your browser and stays available the next time you visit from the same device. We don't send or store your data on our servers.
Which export formats are supported?
SVG and PNG — for viewing and printing the layout; PDF — a full documentation set with a parts specification and stickers to attach to parts during cutting; DXF — a file to load into a CNC machine; CSV/XLSX — a parts table for your own records.
Are kerf width and sheet edge trim taken into account?
Yes, both parameters are configurable and factored into the calculation. Kerf width is subtracted between neighboring parts, and edge trim around the sheet's perimeter, so the layout accounts for possible defects at the edges of the material.
Can I use several different materials in one project?
Yes, you can create as many materials as you like, with different sizes and thicknesses, and split your project's parts between them. The layout is calculated separately for each material.
Are inches supported?
Yes, alongside millimeters, inches are available (entered as either a fraction or a decimal number), as well as a "feet + inches" format. You can switch units at any time right in the interface.
